Lily Blue, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Blue was born and raised in Lubbock, TX, the home of the Red Raiders and Buddy Holly. She is the third of six children and loved growing up in a big family. Before graduating from Coronado High School, she met Courtland, who would become her high school sweetheart and husband 6 years later.

Wanting to remain a loyal Red Raider, she attended Texas Tech University where she earned a degree in Biochemistry.

Dr. Blue graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX and was named Valedictorian of her class. One of her favorite memories of Optometry School was taking part in a mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico where their team provided eye exams to thousands of patients. Her goal as a therapeutic optometrist is to provide thorough, individualized care and education to her patients with an emphasis on eye health and visual comfort. She loves seeing patients of all ages, including pediatrics, and is passionate about promoting proper visual development in children.

She is happy to be close to family again and enjoys exploring the local restaurants and coffee shops around the north DFW cities. She likes to spend her free time walking her dogs, watching movies, listening to live music, and participating in an occasional game of pickleball with her husband.
