RED LIGHT THERAPY

HELPS IMPROVE OIL GLAND FUNCTION AND REDUCE INFLAMMATION

Healthy tears depend on tiny oil glands in your eyelids, called meibomian glands. When these glands become blocked, tears evaporate too quickly, leading to dry eye symptoms. Red Light Therapy helps support healthier gland function and a more stable tear film.

HOW RED LIGHT MAY HELP

Softens Thickened Oils: Red Light gently warms the eyelids, helping soften and loosen thickened oils that can block the eyelid glands. This may allow the glands to release oil more effectively and help keep tears on the eye longer.

Calms Inflammation: Dry eye disease often causes ongoing inflammation that

contributes to discomfort and irritation. Red Light helps calm inflammation and supports the body's natural healing process.

Supports Healthy Cell Function: Red Light helps stimulate natural cellular activity, supporting healthier oil gland function and overall eyelid health.

BLUE LIGHT THERAPY

HELPS IMPROVE EYELID HEALTH

For some patients, dry eye symptoms are worsened by bacteria or microscopic mites called Demodex that live along the eyelid margin. Blue Light Therapy helps create a healthier environment around the eyelids.

HOW BLUE LIGHT MAY HELP

Reduces Bacteria and Demodex Mites: Blue Light helps reduce bacteria and manage Demodex mites that can contribute to eyelid irritation and inflammation.

Reduces Eyelid Inflammation: Healthier eyelids can lead to improved tear production and reduced redness, irritation, and discomfort.

YELLOW LIGHT THERAPY

HELPS REDUCE PUFFINESS AND SUPPORT HEALING

Yellow Light Therapy is designed to help reduce swelling and improve circulation around the eyes, making it especially helpful for patients with inflamed or puffy eyelids.

HOW YELLOW LIGHT MAY HELP

Reduces Puffiness: Yellow Light supports the body's natural drainage of excess fluid that can accumulate in and around the eyelids.

Helps Calm Red, Irritated Eyelids: Patients with conditions such as ocular rosacea, styes, chalazia, or significant eyelid inflammation may benefit from the soothing effects of Yellow Light Therapy.

NEAR-INFRARED (NIR) LIGHT THERAPY

DEEP WARMING AND TISSUE SUPPORT

Near-Infrared Light reaches deeper tissue than visible light therapies and provides gentle, therapeutic warmth to support gland function and healing.

HOW NIR MAY HELP

Supports Oil Gland Function: The gentle warming effect helps soften oils trapped deeper within the eyelid glands, supporting healthier oil flow and improved tear quality.

Supports Nerve Health and Comfort: Over time, chronic dry eye can irritate the tiny nerves on the surface of the eye, leading to burning, stinging, and a gritty sensation. Near-Infrared Light helps calm inflammation and supports the body's natural healing process, and may improve overall eye comfort.
